Who We Are
Founded in 2011 in Falam, Chin State, the Global Falam Youth Organization (GFYO) empowers Falam Chin youth through education, leadership, and cultural preservation. Over the years, we have organized youth conferences, built community infrastructure, honored pioneering graduates, and provided humanitarian support across Chin State.
After a several-year pause due to nationwide unrest, GFYO is back stronger, led by a new generation dedicated to uniting Falam Chin youth worldwide. We foster cultural pride, promote community service, and create opportunities for young people to thrive, building a future rooted in identity, dignity, and progress.
In 2026, GFYO was officially registered in Indiana, USA, as a nonprofit, youth-led organization advancing the educational, cultural, and leadership development of Falam Chin youth globally.
